Charity Knitting

I am a huge fan of charity knitting.....where else can one indulge in a hobby, be creative and give to others all at the same time?

Lots of places online to donate through.

Another idea: call your local animal shelter and ask if they need cat beds, dog beds, toys, etc.....then go ahead and start knitting for the animals! Cats and dogs don't seem to care what colors you use and mix together.....nor do they seem bothered by patterns.

The Knitting Vegan

Welcome to all. This is the blog of a knitting vegan.....a fanatic of each. I have been knitting for about one year, crocheting for about 20 years, and a veg for 25 years.

Being a vegan in the yarn-world is not the same as being a non-vegan. As a vegan, I don't knit with wool or silk (or any fibers which are animal based).....and the hunt for nice, vegan yarn (cotton, hemp, natural fibers) isn't always easy.
But it can be done!
